Spud Point Crab Company will be temporarily closed for our yearly cleaning and maintenance, starting on Monday, October 30th, and wrapping up on Thursday, November 9th. We’ll be back in action on Friday, November 10th.

Starting Thursday, January 14th we will have fresh whole cooked and live crab from our own boats for sale at our shop at Spud Pt. Crab Co.

On Friday, January 15th our shop will reopen 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for chowder and sandwiches.  At this time we will be offering our limited menu and will not be taking any pre-orders or phone orders. 

As you come around the bay look for our big blue oval sign with our signature crab in the center……that’s us SPUD POINT CRAB CO.  

We’ve been in business for 17 years and are grateful to have built such an amazing following. We believe what makes our customers keep coming back is our daily freshness and quality of everything we sell.

Where It All Began

Spud Point Crab Company, owned by Tony and Carol Anello opened on July 10, 2004.

Tony and Carol purchased their property on Westshore Rd. in Bodega Bay.  The property was perfect for them, it was zoned commercial/residential.  They planned on building their home and business on the property.  Inspired by Tony’s years of spending time down at Fisherman’s Wharf. Spud Point Crab Co. was born.  The property wasn’t that big, but it was big enough for their home and a 360 sq. ft. shop.  They wanted it to be like the old Fisherman’s Wharf that they both knew as kids in S.F. They wanted it to be family run and a place people could come and enjoy good food and be able to experience the beauty of Bodega Bay. 

The family operated business is a dream come true for Tony and Carol.


Fresh Crab Straight From Our Boats To Your Mouth

Tony has been commercial fishing since 1970. Seasonal crab and wild king salmon is provided fresh from the docks by Tony and his son Mark. The “Annabelle, “Cape Ommaney: and the “Legacy” are moored right across the street at Spud Pt. Marina.
